Dear tumblr,

You are a great idea and you had me at hello. You really did make quite an impression, which caused you to become a part of my daily routine. The thing that really attracted me to you was how you really focused on the relationship between me and you- never trying to make outward appearances for other people trying to peer into my life. You were a place I could ramble and easily post things that gave me joy- somewhere I could follow random bitches and voyeuristically take pleasure in what pleased others. You used to make me feel safe from possible judgment. 

I don’t know if you have noticed, but I haven’t really used you to post any original content. Didn’t my overuse of the “like” and re-blog buttons concern you? You don’t feel like a place created for me anymore, as I keep thinking about how you will relay everything I say to those of my (intentionally or unintentionally) judgmental peers.

Oh, but do not worry! I’m not leaving you. I just think I am going to create a completely different space to say whatever the fuck I want with the freedoms of anonymity. May the search for that place begin. Who knows… you may just be that place for me, but that is to be determined.
