Things I am grateful for this year!
- My friends who have been there for me through all the emotional and joyous moments I have had in the past year! Moments where Anella and I would make spontaneous trips or adventures- where Carolyn and I would dance on the roof of the student center parking structure- laying in bed all day and having a fabulous lazy sunday with jaymie- living a whole month with my bestie Nem in NYC- to vegas trips with my favorite rugrats!
- My loving and caring boyfriend who is there to hold me when I get stressed or cook me amazing meal when I get hungry. From humming in the car and pretending to listen to my stories to watching the scariest tv shows with me and making sure I’m not completely freaking out. You are always there for me and I am so glad that I have much more than a boyfriend- a best friend. <3
- My car. There has been a whole set of car drama this past year, but I am thankful that I am blessed enough to have a wonderful working car!
- To the amazingly supportive faculty who have become my closest mentors. When I was about to start college I remember thinking that if I was able to get one mentor I would be incredibly lucky. I have surpassed that and more! Thank you to Vinnie, Mike, B.C., Annie, Natalie, Cliff, Myrona, Dennis, and all the sound grads. These are the people who are helping things happen for me and I am so grateful you were willing to invest so much of your time into me. (Especially Vinnie)- you have so many things you could have been doing, but because of you I may actually have a bright future ahead of me and for that I will always be grateful.
- To my family- who despite our silly arguments and strange communication methods- I love you greatly and know we will always have each others backs.
- To my roommates- we have made a pretty amazing home and I am glad we can share the space with each other <3
- To Caroline and Carolyn- you guys are my rocks! Honestly so much love here! And to Carolyn- even though we get in little tiffs sometimes- know it is only because I love you so much and want to be with you. You mean the world to me and I enjoy all the moments we share together.
- To Michelle, who has become a close friend and has made me wonder why it took us so darn long. We will always have the night I wore your bra on my head and hopefully we will have many more. Is it appropriate to maybe just say… Hello, again? —-> there is a pun in there.. and yes, it is intended.
- To Julia, Amanda, and Effie- I am literally obsessed with all three of you. You all know it…. you don’t even need proof. From fierce belting to asian parasols to beer extravaganzas- basically I am going to be living with you for the next two quarters, get ready for cuddle sessions and secret circle marathons. I love all of you and I am so glad we have grown together over the last 4 years!
- To everyone else who has helped me grow and get me to where I am today. I couldn’t really list everyone so please don’t be offended if you are not here. I love you all and wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving!
